Last week, the 7th International Conference on Energy Economics and Energy Policy (ICEEEP 2023) took place in Barcelona.
Josep Mayos, research engineer from CIMNE, presented the EN-TRACK project in the session 'Energy Efficiency Performance-Tracking Platform for Benchmarking Savings and Investments in Buildings, a soon-to-be-launched open-source big data platform to make buildings energy efficiency investments a mainstream activity in the financial sector'.
The keynote speech gave an overview of the different modules of the EN-TRACK platform, highlighting the ability to massively collect building data from different sources to apply harmonised processing and analytics to obtain results that help both building owners and financial institutions for de-risking energy efficiency investment. The presentation raised interest among the scientific audience who were eager to learn more about the services offered by EN-TRACK.
